New Hyundai i20 Design
The new Hyundai Elite i20 comes with a new bumper design, along with a larger grille. The projector headlamps with LED DRLs blend neatly with the redesigned front bumpers of the car. The sides of this car feature a new set of 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.
But the new Hyundai i20’s side profile remains identical to the old model, with the semi-floating roof design.
Most pleasing changes have happened at the rear of the new Hyundai i20. The 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 features a restyled tail lamp cluster and a new rear bumper design. In addition to this, the number plate has been relocated from the bumper to the center of the tailgate.
2018 model’s interior gets a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new unit comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and navigation.
The AC+climate control unit gets cluster ionizer which purifies and deodorizes the cabin. Additionally, it also gets a sliding armrest at the front and a new rear AC vent.
Dual airbags and ABS come standard across all the models of the new Hyundai i20. The top model (Asta) gets 6 airbags and ISOFIX child-seat mounts. Speed-sensing auto door lock, reverse parking camera, and power windows that automatically roll down when a barrier is detected add to the safety features of this car.
The new version comes with ‘Auto Link’, which is basically a mobile app that gives the owner, all the crucial information of the car including maintenance and service assistance from Hyundai.
Other convenience features include push-button start/stop, smart pedal (applies only the brake, during concurrent operation of the brake pedal and the accelerator) and automatic headlights.

The new variant features new two-tone color schemes of either red, orange or white, with a black upper body (roof and pillars). The interior also gets an elective two-tone color scheme. Auto-folding ORVMs, TFT display on the instrument bunch and a cooled glovebox add to the list of other features.
